Restoration - Design - Remodel

Coordinated, overseen and finalized by:

Before the fire- (previous owner).

This spectacular contemporary home sits on a perfect site on the Oregon coast.  These pictures show some of the previous interior style.  Although the finishes were started with quality in mind, the style not only didn't compliment the beautiful contempory exterior, and it left multiple locations that didn't take full advantage of the ocean front view.   When we came into the home for purchase, it was fire damaged as you'll see in the next portfolio below.

With a keen eye for design,  Bill  (Home Facets) saw the vision of what this home could actually be.  We went to work with a completely redesigned interior floor plan which included removal of walls blocking the view, larger windows facing, although approiate for the oregon coast weather and UV tinting.

You'll see in the pictures that the prior interior was chopped up, bland and didn't reflect the spirit of the beach.
In this portfolio you'll see what we walked into... yikes, this one got hit hard, but all the "bones" were there.  Structually the home looked good with some beam replacement.  New floors floor joists, framing and sheeting replaced and we were good.

The entire home was taken down to the bare studs except the garage.  All of the existing electrical wiring and plumbing was removed from the home.  All the bare framing was sprayed with white Shellac to seal the lumber and further deter any intrusion of the elements.

Without writing a book-  What we ended up with is this quality built, one of a kind  ocean beauty,

Enjoy the pictures and take a second look at the home page gallery to really appreciate where we ended up with this project.
